We're excited to announce that our client, Forward Space, has received planning approval for the redevelopment of the former Boots building in Trelowarren Street, Camborne. This project aligns with the Camborne Town Deal's earlier identification of the building as an ideal location for a co-working enterprise.

The former Boots pharmacy, located in the main commercial centre of the town, has been vacant since its relocation to a smaller premises a few years ago. The proposed redevelopment includes various co-working spaces, from desk and meeting room rentals to small offices catering to new enterprises seeking collaborative work environments.

The building's transformation involves installing a traditional shopfront, thermal upgrades, internal reordering, and the creation of a shared landscaped garden. Sustainable features such as south-facing solar panels and air source heat pumps will be incorporated, along with a new 'rain garden' to address surface water drainage in a historically mined area.

This initiative, part of the Camborne Town Deal, aims to complement existing projects and revitalise a neglected building for the town's benefit. Forward Space, known for similar co-working ventures across the southwest, is dedicated to transforming workspaces and raising the profile of regional towns and cities, fostering professional and inspiring environments for ambitious individuals.
